These Terms of Service govern your use of Helm, a macOS application available at get-helm.app. By downloading or using Helm, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Helm is a macOS menu bar application that lets you launch groups of apps, browser tabs, and files in one click. It is distributed as a direct download from get-helm.app and is not available on the Mac App Store.
When you purchase Helm, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on up to two Macs that you own or control. Your license key is tied to your email address and cannot be shared, sold, or transferred to another person.
You may not:
— Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
— Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app or your license key
— Use the app on more than two devices simultaneously
— Remove or alter any copyright or license notices
Helm is a one-time purchase of USD $9. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no hidden fees. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Your license key is delivered by email immediately after payment. If you don't receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us at hello@get-helm.app.
If Helm doesn't work on your Mac, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. To request a refund, email hello@get-helm.app with your order email.
Refunds are not available after 7 days or if the app functions as described on your device.
Your purchase includes all updates to the current major version (v1.x). We may introduce a new major version in the future with a separate purchase, but we'll always be upfront about that before it happens.
We collect your email address at purchase to deliver your license key. We do not collect usage data, workflow contents, or any information about how you use the app. Your workflows are stored locally on your Mac and never leave your device. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Helm is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Helm — including data loss, lost productivity, or damage to your system. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Helm after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
